Thursday Update

Rain will move in this morning and impact the area today. This evening into overnight the cold front may advance into the back side of the rain system causing a mix and switch over to snow. Current snow estimates for areas along and north of I44 is 0.3 to 0.5 (Up to half an inch) I still think everything will still be to warm for mass accumulations, this should be limited to just grass and untreated surfaces. The cold temps set in Friday with a Freeze Watch for Friday night into Saturday morning. Current modeling has overnight temps dropping into the mid to upper teens Saturday morning (bundle up deer hunters). Another slipper system moves in on Friday that could bring a mix precip.

Thats all for now as updates to the forecast come in I will have details on the Facebook Page.
