Overnight lows will fall into the low 20s with breezy winds allowing wind chills will bottom out in the teens over the area.
Monday night through Wednesday will remain dry and under the influence of upper level northwesterly flow. Temperatures will begin to warm up, with highs climbing into the 50s by Tuesday. Overnight lows will start chilly in the 20s, climbing into the lower 40s by Friday.
The next round of precipitation is expected Thursday into early Saturday as an upper level shortwave progresses towards the area, with an associated surface low dragging a cold front across the area. With temperatures remaining in the 50s through this event, and the flow pattern changing to southwesterly flow, Gulf moisture will make it into the region with rain the likely precip type.
I will start to work on the month long forecast and should have it out sometime this week (for December).
