Cooler across portions of the region on Saturday with highs forecast to range from upper 40s to middle 50s. Additionally, a drier air mass filters into the area with rain chances being suppressed across the southeast into the Ohio Valley. As clouds dissipate into the evening, a chilly night is in the forecast with lows in the middle to upper 20s.


A chilly day expected on Sunday with winds remaining out of the west to northwest as high pressure settles into the area. Highs in the lower to middle 40s. This sets up for another cold night into Monday morning.


Next Week: A rather benign zonal pattern sets up across the region early next week. A gradual warming trend returns to the area as winds become south to southwest. Daily highs in the lower to middle 50s, and overnight lows in the 30s. Meanwhile, no foreseeable precipitation chances on the horizon through at least mid next week. Models hint at the return of rain chances by late week, though confidence remains low at this time given the discrepancies across the suite of guidance.
