The latest GFS Long Range has a large event taking place in the Midwest and central plains. We should see rain with this event, however the winter precip (Ice and Snow) will be possible in Central Eastern KS and Central portions of MO. As the system exits on Tuesday Oct 27th the cold is expected to overtake the remaining moisture in our area, which could result in a switch over to winter mix. Accumulations with this event should remain to our north. Tuesday morning Wind Chills will drop into the low 20s for the first time this year.
As we get closer to this event I will have additional updates and once we get 4 days out I will begin to have RAG updates.
