Wind and warm today, winds will increase as the low moves into the plains, this will also help increase the temps into the mid 70s. Storms will fire off the cold front in central KS and OK and march east. This is expected to work into the area after 3 AM Tuesday morning. Strong to severe storms will be possible from 5 AM - 9 AM on Tuesday. Severe storms will bring the risk for damaging winds up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter size. Showers should exit to the east by late morning/early afternoon. Much cooler on the north side of the cold front. Highs for the rest of the week will top out in the low to mid 60s. Next chance for rain will be on Saturday.
