Confidence is now high that we will see a winter event take place overnight Sunday into Monday across the area, models have pushed the highest amounts just east of the area, however a 1 - 3 inch range will be possible along and south of I44. Heavy bands of snow will likely setup along the corridor Monday morning which will reduce visibility. Surface temps are still warm, which will lead to quick melting however during the heavy snow bands accumulations will pickup quickly. This will lead to bridges and isolated slick spots on roads.
