Sat Dec 4

Saturday will be much cooler than the last two days with temps around 60. A few scattered showers will be possible overnight Saturday into Sunday. A secondary front will move through the area on Sunday which could produce a few strong to severe storms (mainly south of highway 60). There will be a limited window in any activity so the overall risk will be short. Fast forwarding into Tuesday next week, a strong cold front will move through which will bring an additional shot for rain across the area. As this exits overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, we could see a transition over to snow before the dry air overtakes the area. No accumulation is expected as ground temps remain to warm for sticking (air event only). More snow is possible going into late next week and further out.
